Yeah, Scelzi beat Force. He lost to Capps in the Semis and Bazemore beat Capps in the finals. All three of the Schumacher Funny Cars went to the Semis. Tony Schumacher won Top fuel and Alan Johnson won Pro Stock.
Give it a couple more years and Schumacher will have over half the field in all the PRO catagories. Nothing against Don, but the NHRA needs to do something about this.
As it is, if Schumacher and Force carry through with their current plans they will have 4 Funny Cars on each team. It will be a rare race where they don't all qualify, so those two teams will have half the field covered. That in my opinion will be bad for the sport. I will predict that if it happens, the year after next will see some races fall short of the 16 car field.
