Drivers door issue.

I just got my 05 RC SRT10 and driving it on a road that is not totally smooth the door moves around/rattles towards the rear. Is there any sort of adjustment for the latch or striker on these?

My old Chevy has this issue and all I had to do was replace the striker bc the hard plastic part broke off.

Mine did the same. the 2 bolts that hold the latch in the door were loose. hope it helps you

Open the door. Then grab the bottom of it and lift. If it has play one or both of your Hinges are shot. Helps if you have a helper lift while you watch the hinges.

No history of any impacts. Ill check the latch and hinges. Its an in and out movement.

Ok checked the truck over and the latch is tight and the door doesn't move at all at the hinges.

Are there any rubber cushions around the door or on the body side of the door opening?

there should be a large length of weather stripping around the door frame
