Guys...

getting ready for the drop.....

2/4 boomers

what tools?
what extra parts?
how long will this take?
gotcha's?
tips?
what kind of beer?

Thanks guys

jack stands and jack basic hand tools, front end is a 19mm i think for a-arms. air compressor and air wrench would make life easier for the u bolts on rear there is a thread somewhere about the install. it doesnt take long. ive dropped mine and changed it back twice to haul a boat which isnt good when its lowered. last time took 45 minutes.

didnt have to have one for the drop only need for a torch is if your doing cal tracs to get the bushing out

Going to be dropping mine this Sat !!!Helping hands never hurt to make things go easier !!!Probably about a three to four hour job !!:dontknow:

You wheel need a cut off wheel for the bumpstops on the front so you can put boomers new ones on..;)

Eddie must be really good!!!

Took me forever to install with a freind. But we are both very anal!!! We did it in my friends driveway...........took about 5 or 6 hours. I am sure we could have cut that time down.....but like I said, we are both very anal and went slow.

You will love the new look.

You must've had too much beer, lol. I did mine by myself in just a few hours.
Did my neighbors truck by myself also. 2nd time went even faster.

Gotta have a good cutoff wheel or a good "heavy" metal cutting blade for a sawzall. Those factory bumpstops are the only real PITA that I encountered.

Hopefully you'll be around Joes shop when we do my drop kit. Talked to him yesterday, things are on time for my mods :)
