Drop ins

Quick question, is it possible to just drop in a new sub and speakers? I don't want anything that'll bump hard just something that bumps a little better. It's a ticket of up to $1000 down here if your caught with loud music in your automobile on the road so I'm not going all out for something I'm never gonna fully experience.

I want to keep the stock headunit but a new round of speakers and a new sub seem to be in order. The stock amp can stay like I said not trying to win any competitions here.

I just aquired some Boston Accoustics, going to be installing tomorrow. Im running all these off the head unit for now. If you want to upgrade the sub, the factory amp has to go. Its not for ****.

Now to replace the amp do I have to run new wires or can I just use the stock wiring?

Never messed with amps before that's why I didn't want to mess with the factory amp but it sounds like I might have too
