Anyone installed Boomer's drop kit on a Quad Cab themselves?
Any particular problems I should know about?
I hope to get the kit next week but i only have ONE day to do the job.
(technical inspection the day after)
thks

One day no problem if your a decent mechanic, the big thing is with all the truck weight on the springs check and set your pinion angle the QC's are picky but with a little playing with it you'll get it to run smooth and not vibrate. After you get it alligned and put some miles on it / let the springs settle you may take it back and have them re-check the allignment. Other than that you should have no problems.

Yeah what he said. I did mine in a few hours/few beers, no issues...if it vibrates you should be able to shim the rear mount on the tranny and get it out, I've not had to do mine at all.

thks for the warnings. BelgiumBarry offered his assistance. On the current setup I also got some vibrations but nothing too big. I'll keep y'll informed how it worked out. All I can do is to wait till Gary ships the kit:rock:
