Dropped the Truck about 6"

Wow that's a serious drop...Looks good...Truck looks awesome...
 
No offense to anyone on this site, but I am not a big fan of any other wheels than the stock ones, but your wheels are hot. I actually like them better than the stock ones. Nice work.
 
Thanks Guys!! The wheels turned out better than I thought they would. They are Boyds furys. I am going to be posting finish pictures this week, I got a little sick and have been out of sorts for a couple of weeks, but all is better now and we are going back to work on Monday. Hope to have finished pictures by wednesday.

I would have thought you would go with a flat disk wheel for aerodynamics.:dontknow:
 
The flat disks bolt on over the wheels, it was too expensive to have custom wheels made. The disks were less than 100.00 each. Kevan, I just have not finished to sponsor logos yet. You'll still make it on a run.
 
Careful when trying out speed record...Truck looks damn good...:rock:

Nearly the end of Oct Big NANA...any update on your attempt to set a record?

Well, I will be getting the truck back this week, I had the alignment finally done and the damn shock broke off. It was a poor welding job and the angle of the shock was too steep for the inside of the front brake caliper to clear. Made one tight turn off the trailer, and it snapped it off, 400.00 down the drain. I will post updated pics this week. My first at speed runs will be this weekend, the actual timed runs will be in april of 2008 .I will be running in Maxton during the Hot Rod Magazine Speed Runs. I have to go faster than 166.5 MPH to set the National speed record. After that, Then Bonneville in august to run for the world record at 183.5 MPH. We'll see how it goes. Taking alot longer than I planned, but everything is coming together slowly but surely.
