Drove an 08 Vette Vert.

Friend of mine was over with his 08 vette. I took it for a quick spin, it has the 6 speed auto w/ paddle shift. I have to say it is a very nice car. outside of the smallness of a vette it has a smooth ride, shifts nice handles well. has all the luxury amenities. But there is no thrill, no noise, no rawness about it...overall very nice, sporty but lacks the old school sports car mystique. just thought I would let yll know

I was driving down the highway last week and looked in my mirror to see a new Yellow C6 ZO6. It caught up to me and slowly
passed by (I was in the 37 Ton Dump Truck, so no race ). I will admit, it looked pretty BadAss! Not as nasty as a Viper, but still, BadAss!:rock:

It was 65 here today. Roads are pretty clean now, and it's supposed to rain like a MF'er overnight and clean 'em off even gooder.

It'll probably get colder again though...:dontknow:

I test drove one a while back... and hated it... it was unbalanced... handled horribly.. the front end drifted all over the place the transmission was clunky... I could go on.... of course I test drove a viper once too and hated that even more :dontknow: ..... hell now that I think about it... I'm not even that thrilled with the M5...... it lacks torque... the SMG is clugey... the active seating is annoying<of course it can be turned off> and the suspension isn't what it should be for a 98K car..

the trucks pretty much kicks ass tho

I would own a z06..........its a fast mofo!! Problem is, there are thousands of vettes on the road..........almost as bad as mustangs.

03 Z06 in silver would be nice, just for speed. Great aerodynamics and less weight than a Viper or Cobra.
