About three weeks ago, I wrote a thread about my dissappointing experience with a visit to a local dealer and test drive of an '08 M3. I went to a Bimmer dealer today and test drove another one. Today's salesperson was outstanding, taking time to explain everything to me and how to operate everything. This M3 had the DCT tranny and...it...is...sweet. This example felt stronger than the last too for some reason and it was a bit heavier being a convertable (I kept the top up). I can really say though...I was tempted to trade my truck in on a lease for one of these until they came back and said the lease payment was still going to be $850 a month. I really got a nice driving position fixed on this one and since I knew how to work everything, it really tempted me. But for that much a month, no thanks, it's still not that good. LOL

yes, i have read your previous post about this, too and i must say, you're kind of right about bmw's. they are high maintenance and a little bit pricey especially the bmw repair shops! they ask for a large amount only for labor :(

put a dct m3 on the track and you'll drive the truck off a cliff...

they're fantastic... and i'm saying this from personal experience...

but i'm a bimmerphile, so i'm a little partial...;)

Is that what you were thinking about when you crashed your truck, every time...
