How do you clear DTC codes out of the computer?

Disconnect the negative batt. terminal for 15-20 minutes. When you reconnect the pcm will reboot...the codes will be cleared, if the code reappears...you will need to correct the reason for the code...

Thanks Prof, I was playing with the TPS hoping to cure a idle issue I had. I pulled the TPS elec. connector, ran the truck for a couple of mins, then pulled the TPS out, cycled it through by hand and re-installed it. The idle problem is gone but, of course, I'm throwing the 0123 code from when I ran the truck with the connector off. I'll dissconnect the battery overnight and see what happens in the morning.
