Last year PhxPoolGuy & I went to Extreme Performance here in Phoenix to have our 10's dyno using a Dyno Jet machine. On the 26th of this month several Mopar clubs are meeting in Scottsdale for a Dyno Day. The place has a Dyno Dynamics dyno. I have heard there are differences in dyno's. Some small, some not so small. Compared to the Dyno Jet, what can I expect from the Dyno Dynamics dyno. Thanks.

If you are putting it on a dyno for a number ,Don't bother! You have a number . from the dynojet. once you do more mods and need to tweek the tune ,then go back to the dynojet for a proper comparison........... only on a dyno does your engine ever work that hard! Hate to see something break for no good reason............... Best stand back and watch everyone else. and have beer handy!! ..............just my opinion

Last year I pulled 424.81 HP & 463.79 Torque stock. I have since installed B&B Headers & the SCT Tuner. I was interested to see how those would change my numbers. You are probably right, I should go back to Extreme & used the same machine as before.

and dont Forget, lots of things Impact your numbers e.g. last year means also different climate which Impacts your numbers as well.

The Optimum is to do it before and after mod on the same dyno, same Operator, if possible even same day....

Otherwise it will always be a comparison based on estimation.

.....or you run your truck on a climate controlled chamber dyno, which i have seen only at Porsche factory and other high class companies....

Like Slitherbeast Said.....just stand back and watch everyone else and have a cold beer.

I could handle a cold beer or two & being a spectator is one of my favorite sports. Being a spectator you are less likely to spill your beer.
