well....went to see what the truck whats putting out after the 6 speed swap...I went to a shop that does mustangs, camaro's and gto's....the tunner has a good rep....i ended up like this....
IMAG0633.jpg

when they strapped it down they put in on top one for the brake lines.....after the first pull someone said the truck was leaking from the rear...the guy who strapped it down jump under the truck and moved the strap before i went under and the first thing he said was he didn't do it....i knew he was full of sh*t and i told him don't touch my truck any more....i unhooked the other strap and took it off the dyno....everyone that was there took off like bitches and they guy that strapped the truck said it wasn't his fault again and went to talk to the manger...they locked the door on me so i walk around the building and just happen to bump into the owner...he was pretty cool...he offered to fix the truck but i told him all i wanted was for him to pay for the tow back to my house....the first time i let someone touch the truck (bestbuy) they messed up the wiring and now this.....no one this touching my truck again.....

Could have been way worse bud, my first trip to the dyno my truck came home the same way as yours but I had a broken piston.

Brake lines are minor, although buddy acted pretty childish if you ask me. It's easier just to admit when you are wrong and deal with it. As if it wasn't his fault.

That's exactly what I told him...people make mistakes. He was so scared he even left the keyboard and mouse in my truck when I told them not to touch my truck anymore

If it wasn't for bad luck, you wouldn't have any.

Cheer up brake lines are piece of cake! Plus you came up on a sweet keyboard and mouse! And saved gas money on the drive home! Could have been worse...

did you at least get a pull in, what where your numbers? Just kidding. Ya dont go back to that shop.

I know it definitely could have been worse.....I had asked them if the straps were good...he said yes I've been doing this for years. If you make a mistake man up to it...the place i went to was in bristol pa. It was called lrg ...dont remember what it meant. The truck put down 466hp with 490lbs torque ...the a/f was around 10.9 but they put the wideband on the tail pipe....as soon as I get my new brake line and put my new clutch hydraulics I will take it again to double check the numbers. My last dyno with the auto was 431hp with 468lbs of torque....so I think the 6 speed swap was well worth it...

I made sure when I went to the dyno I went to a place that does a lot of Lightnings, a place that is used to strapping down trucks and not cars. It just made me feel more comfortable going to a place used to working with something other than cars on a routine basis.

If your A/F was 10.9 out the gas hole ,there is no way you would be putting down 466hp ,,,i think they not only screwed up your brake line but dyno numbers also .At 10.9 i,m surprised it did not throw a too rich code .you need to go to a different dyno shop and geter done right :D

You should have called Bill like I told you!

I know. Will do as soon as I get the new parts on. It was a dynojet ...don't they read a little higher than others ?
My wide band in the truck reads 11.2-11.9 so I was asking how accurate is it when it the put the 02 on the tail pipe?

I know. I'm kicking myself in the ass....a good friend took me there....

The swap was worth it because it made higher dyno numbers? You lost me on that one.
What!!!!! How did you get lost???? Crack is wack..... I had an auto and swapped in a 6 speed...it makes more power to the wheels with the 6 speed
