Steve, Instead of driving around South Florida, save yourself some miles and just stop off at Sean Roe's and get it done......

What better place to get a Honest Dyno Pull than one of the better (some say the best) SRT10/Viper shops going... Just a thought :)

That's a looooong drive to take just to get the truck dynoed.

Hey Chief. You know, I actually thought of that. But that could be financially dangerous for me, in more than one way. I would be tempted to add more mods, so that would cost me money. And, once I got home and the wife finds out how much I spent, she'll throw me out of the house. Again costing me more money, because now I have to go out and get a hotel room. :D

Do you want it done? Or done RIGHT?

Bill.

Are you serious? The guy is just dynoing the truck he's not building a motor. He did not in anyway mention that he was get the truck "dyno tuned". If that were the case then by all means Sean would probably be the way to go. But to drive 6 hrs up and 6 hrs back home to get 3 pulls on a dyno, and piece of paper that says you have xxx hp and xxx tq. Please let's be real I'm sure he has alot of better ways to spend 12 hours.

Oh, and BTW the name of the thread is "Dyno in South Florida" not North Florida

I've actually been there and got my truck dynoed when I first got it. Good bunch of guys very knowledgeble with Ford and Diesel trucks, but there dyno is not a load baring dyno at least that was the case the last time I was there. It wouldn't be a bad place to go to get a baseline number, but remember you should always go back to the same dyno to get accurate hp increase numbers after installing mods.

They seem pretty cool....I didn't know any of that tb/c I never got any of my cars dyno'd before...when I'm ready to dyno I might go to roe, I have friends that live up that way so I could kill 2 birds at once

Make sure that you tell the wife that you're going up to visit friends, not dyno the truck. ;)

I was told by Stinker that a good place to go is Heffner Performance. I think they are located in Bradenton/Sarasota. He deals with a lot of exotics including Viper cars. You could give him a call. That's where I plan on going when the time comes.

theirs a place near the falls called Machines Gone Wild that works on a bunch of evos and such. I took them my BMW and the guy looked like he knew what he was doing. Also Active Autowerke can probably dyno it for you and they are real professional. I believe their is like two more places, but I cant remember their names

There are quite a few dynos around, including my nephew who has a speed shop in Coral Springs. He does mostly vw, audi and porsches, but he can do almost anything that will fit in the bay. Most of the power pulls he does are to fine tune his programming and/or bolt ons. Taking my 71 cuda there in a few weeks and testing the prior owners claim of 400hp/500tq to the rear wheels. Problem is he is so busy, and I'm hoping to be squeezed in as a freebie :)
Seen the one near the falls also.

Yeah, I heard of Machines Gone Wild over by the Falls. Maybe I'll him up.

We have done a couple different Dyno Days with Mickey !!!One was in Stuart, and the other was up by me in Rockledge !!I think if you check with Mickey or George, you will find that once they are done with Georges install,Sean Roe is coming down to Stuart to get Georges truck setup !!!Check with them to be sure, but that's my understanding !!! :dontknow:

Heres a pic of my nephews inertia awd dyno. He's in Coral Springs on Wiles Road. He doesnt work on heavy hitting american stuff though, so I'm just shamelessly and proudly plugging his work.
He tunes vw, porsche, audi and acuras, and that sort of stuff. he also has a couple of the fastest 1/4 mile vws and audis in the world!
Check the link for the 9.8 second audi a4 south Florida NSCRA (turbo street class winner) he tuned and drove.
