Last weekend I went to the track. I was doing better, but my tranny bit it again (govenor pressure solenoid - again). I ened up the day with a 13.0 (in the time slips section). So I decided to get a tune.

I started the day on the dyno with only 470 hp and 440 ft/lb. That is 20 hp lower than last time, but the day is hot and...... So it is my refference point.

We smoothed out the fuel curve and got it back to the right ratio. It is just a slight touch rich at the 4500 - 5000 curve. I am afraid to push it any more without a real tuner doing it.

Then we started to play with timing. I gained 26 hp and 47 ft/lb. That is a peak gain. Decent, but not amazing. Under the curve (between 3500 and 4000) I gained 57 hp and 77 ft/lbs. That is not to shabby.

I will try to post the dyno pics after I get them in the e-mail and can sort them out. The cool thing is I put down the same run over and over after the truck was warm.
