DYNO TUNE

I ran truck on dyno with Roe Racing 93 octane tune only making 425 to the wheels. My buddy at ENZO RACING erased the tune and made some adjustment with the SCT program making 490 to the wheels. If you guys purchase the sct make sure you dyno and tune your truck to get the most out of them. As you can see he pulled a hell much more HP!!!
what dyno make were you on? :dontknow:

Ran my truck today all stock except K&N Drop In and Cat Back Dyno Max. It made 433 hp and 469 tq

Thanks, the numbers were almost where I expected. The truck seems to run perfect.

Jay, go back to moaning about your transmission...we are trying to help, you may not understand that concept....oh, yup, you can put me on Ignore again if you want.;) :D

I'm done with the transmission.... Bad times and blood because of that thing.

But y'all were doing it again...... He said nothing bad about Sean's canned tune.

Your getting close to the list again thou;)

I have to call this one:( :bs:

You can possibly gain 65rwhp out of just a tune on a NA stock engine

Also 420-440 rwhp is the stock range for RC's;)

Had mine on the Dyno last week, bone stock except for the K&N Drop-In, I pulled 447.5 RWHP and 472 TQ, A/F was at 10:1 (clip on at the tail pipe). I agree the numbers are just that numbers and the Dyno is simply a tool for tuning. This was a Base Line for me when I start my mods.

Dyno was a "Dyno Dynamics", warm Virginia day 85 degrees, Elavation 12 ft above sea level.

Yea, I am really happy with the numbers.

I think with a "Good Tune (from Roe or DC), Headers, High Flow Mids, Cat-Back, Throttle Body, (maybe the Tranny Upgrade Kit to handle the extra power) I could get into the 12's at the track.

I actually want to do a Pull on the same Dyno with the Same operator between each mod/upgrade. That way I can accurately measure the gains of each individual mod as it adds to the overall performance.

Just have to build up the wallet. That last two paragraphs will cost a good $4K-$5K, OUCH.... But with almost everything with The Good comes with the Bad.

Is your new tune a safe one? Sean can always get more power but he also enjoys knowing you will be driving your truck, instead of it being towed somewhere with a window in the block. What are your air fuel ratio's? Too lean and booom!

Plus dynos are for bragging. Times down the track is what counts too.

:top:WERD!

The only tune(s) I feel comfortable enough with for #1900 is from Roe. Sure I'll dyno her anywhere reputable, but the results will go straight to Sean for adjustments. If I really NEED a dyno tune I would even go as far as shipping #1900 to his place to get 'er done.

Da1Chief, where did you get the dyno at? How much did they charge? Let me know when you go again. I want to get a baseline set of numbers.

WOw 490 RWHP with those mods are a record!

:D 06 SRT-10- Bellanger Long Tubes W Cats,Magnaflow,K&N,170 T-Stat,JMB Catch Can,B&M,X-Metal Throttle Body, NGK Iridiums, SCT Tuned

Not sure if it would be a record with those mods, id say its what you should expect with those mods.

Stock you should be in the 440 range, Bellangers are suposeto get you 30-40HP according to there advertising, sct is support to get you 15-20 HP , Throttle Boday 5-8hp... Magnaflow 10-25 HP

Looks fairly respectable to me.... and I know all mods dont add up they all have a effect so in that case I will run with the lower numbers not the higher that are advertised... 440+30+15+5+10= 500hp.... Looks good to me,, and since all advertised numbers and are high hes with in reason of what his mods should be providing for him.

It was done at DTP racing here in Chesapeake. If you go let me know and I will meet up with you.
