First of all, sorry to the NW Oregon contingent, but it looks like the tuning is going to happen up here in Seattle. John Reed's going to be up in my area this coming Saturday the 29th to tune another ride, and has time to do mine that day. Much as I'd like to visit, I don't mind saving a few bucks on the cost of diesel fuel towing the truck down there.

On the plus side, anyone in the western Washington area can join up without it having to be an all-day affair.

I will post the time and place once the info is confirmed.

Congrats Eric.
I have my daughter, so I will miss it. But I want to hear all about it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll take the damned video camera...:p

Now, everything in this drive train is fresh. This may not be the definitive power tune, since I want to give everything a chance to break in (rather than break it on the dyno). Even so, I do expect to see some decent numbers.

Eric, are you going to also tune for Race Gas?

Where will the dyno session be?

The tuning this weekend may just be to get things running smoothly, but not necessarily for power. After giving it some thought, I decided that I'd really like to get some miles on the drivetrain before subjecting it to dyno tuning. Especially after finding stuff like 1/2" of missing weld on a part I bought from X-Vendor:)mad: ), it would be helpful to take some time for break-in and troubleshooting before running it hard.

That said, I will be setting it up for a race-gas tune. I just need to order some high-octane unleaded fuel.;)

Once the beast can idle by itself AND we get a dry day, I will videotape it and post it up.
