I know I have seen some talk about using e-85 in our trucks before on here. Mostly to the negitive. But my set-up is quite a bit different. First I have the fuel pressure and lines to be able to push the increased volume required already. I have new fuel rails and going up to 96# injectors. I am going to use the VEC3 to control the system and Joe D is going to do the tuning. I am thinking about having a 93 tune, 110 tune, and the E-85 tune. I am not going to run the E-85 all the time, just racing and such. In most cases I will run it on 93 so the "eating of the fittings" should not be a problem.
I like the octane rating for the E-85 when I am going to run high boost, also the "colder" fuel is a plus.
I go to Joe D in 2 weeks and need some help making a choice on what 3 tunes to use. Also is using as meth injection a better option than the E-85?
