I see a Sonics and a Golden Corral. Did you see anything that has enough parking for us and a variety of food for everyone's tastes?

It's a drive in type place. You park next to a speaker/menu box and place your order and they bring it out to your vehicle. This may not fly for those that won't eat in their trucks. They usually have tables outside. Not an indoor sit down place. Maybe the Golden Corral is the better choice with the buffet and they usually have an area that can be reserved for groups. Unless someone comes up with a better suggestion. No beer (Golden Corral). I remember someone saying one of those counties is dry. Not sure if Rockingham is in it. Big Dave

I have been to the GC there a few times, thats where the DTW meets for the annual MATR.

I vote for Sonic (they have tables). Either is fine.

Dry county ? I doubt it, since there is an ABC store in Rockingham

Doesn't matter to me (GC or Sonics). NC only has four dry counties. Clay, Graham, Mitchell and Yancey. But neither place we've mentioned sells booze and I'd guess they don't allow it at the track??? So folks who want a drink are on their own. Make mine a large sweet tea.

I have seen plenty of coolers at Rockingham

Alcohol and drag racing doesnt mix...unless your runnin it ....so plan to wait until were done running before poppin a cold one
