I think this says a lot:

"Item location: Houston, TX, United States"

Should read "Hit it front by HURRICANE!" :D

I go with the flood story.

Oh and that smell is not BS!..... but MOLD! :D

Most salvage titles are created equal.... It screams "Buyer Beware"....

Anyone that purchases a vehicle... any vehicle with a salvage title either can't afford the real thing or is too ignorant to stay the fk away....

It might as well have a sign on it that reads, "Condemned".

I wouldn't go that far salvage titles have there advantages. Its a lot easer to take a vehicle with a salvage title that you know has no real value and turn it into a track truck or an off the wall custom that will only lower the value even more.:dontknow:

But its situations like this when the seller is not a 100% honest with the buyers that support your stay the fu#$ away statement.:vroam:

X2...

My insurance company will NOT insure a vehicle with a Salvage title; period. They can be good for parts though...built a motorcycle that way.

It had an accident all right, I think it was with some dude named Ike?

LOL and this is his description that he typed up.

Description
Our inspection of this vehicle has show the mileage to be accurate. Not only is the outside clean, the inside is smoke-free. This vehicle is in great shape, there is no collision damage evident. This used auto has been babied and the body shows its well-kept condition, not a door ding present. This vehicle shines like new; it appears to have always been garaged. This vehicle shifts out great and is remarkably quiet. This engine is just getting warmed up and can't wait for you to be behind the wheel and finish breaking it in. All electrical and optional equipment on this vehicle have been checked and are in perfect working condition. This vehicle has no known defects - it is super. The exterior finish on this automobile is immaculate. Extra clean interior, absolutely no rips, odors or abuse. The tires on this automobile are not new, but they are in excellent condition.

You can call me at 713-478-4247

What a dipshit.

34,500 miles on it and he says "This engine is just getting warmed up and can't wait for you to be behind the wheel and finish breaking it in."

Someone please go re-insert this numbnuts into the orifice he was ejected from.

He really meant...

"This engine is just about to blow and can't wait for you to be behind the wheel and finish breaking it."

My dad bought a flooded 06 Z71 last year that was only flooded from the dash forward. It was a nightmare to clean, bought a lot of electrical parts, and still smelled funny after months of detailing. Decided to let it go to the auction and get it gone. Flooded vehicles are always going to have problems!

Depends how far you go with the rebuild :) Here is the current status of my 05 PW:D

Replaced the engine, dash and body harness new from the dealer. Sand blasting the dash frame and painting, if its out of the truck its being replaced. Only about two cups of water combined in the diffs. I contribute the lack of water in the trans due to the vehicle sitting and water coming up around it and the amount of mud that was packed under the truck from a recent Colorado trip.
Mine has a clear tittle who buys salvage:bird:
