What kind of history did this loser have? What was his feedback score? (buy only from 100 and above) What's the percentage of successful sales did he complete in the past? (should be no less that 98%) These are things to look into before dropping so much dough on eBay purchases. I sure hate learning this happened to you Iron. Without a doubt don't let off of paypal. You should get your money back eventually.

duh yes i did called the guy told him no bios screen but all fans were running and i could hear the HD running on boot up
while i was on phone with this a$$ he told me to make sure vid card did not come loose ,,,it didnt,,,so he told me and paypal if i returned it and provided a tracking number he would refund ,,,after he got it he tryed to say i opened case and unpluged cpu and reinstalled it backwards ,,,lieing peice of crap,,,
paypal has shut him down on ebay till he pays up did get 200 back so far,,
and his rating was 100 percent 120rating so you never know

Went thru the same type of chit last year.Got my money back from my credit card company. Capital One. I let them and paypal fight it out. Paypal is the way to go.But you always have your credit card company to back you up as well.Good luck and I hope the bastard gets what's coming to him!!

I wouldn't loose sleep over it. Your credit card company should refund your money after they do an investigation. Explain the circumstances and that you purchased a product advertised as *new*. I've had issued like this in the past but only for like $15 dollars or so with one exception involving a limo to the airport for one of my comps. I dissagreed over the guys price for a sepret limo for my training partner to JFK. I had already made my reservation and I wasn't due to leave for two more days but my traiing partner was leaving a day earlier then me. I told the guy his price for the 2nd trip was unreasonable and I wished to cancel the entire trip. The idiot told me that I couldn't cancel my reservation, I calmy explained to him that if he was to charge my card without my authorization, I would press charges against him for misuse of my CC. Well he did and I found out on my way to Scotland. When I got back 10 days later I told him that if he didn't fix it, he was gonna have a 310 lb pissed off customer in his lobby. He threatned to call the cops when I kindly explained to him that I was a cop. In the end I never "payed" him a visit. My CC company immidiately refunded my money but oddly enough the jurisdiction that this business was located in was leary of arresting this guy for missuse of my CC. I could really care less but I personally would have investigated it and at least applied for a warrant for a fellow brother! Oh well, he got the money yanked outta his account real quick!! Moral of the story, you pay all those fees to your CC company for a reason, they are more helpful then most people realize.
