Getting ready for the upcoming drag and road race season and I want to upgrade the pads. I see the reds are a higher temperature than the greens. Whats the consensus as to which one to get. There will be heavy braking on the road coarses...how much I guess will depend on the track and my speeds :burnout:

So, which one do I get and which of our vendors has the lowest price?

if the red has a higher temp.rateing then go with the red, road course as you know has more brakeing.

I am really happy with the feel of the green pads.

Reds are definitely tougher. Will probably tear up the rotors faster. ;'>

I'm awaiting an answer too. Maybe if a vendor can post some prices on replacement rotors as well. I plan on attending a couple of HPDE's this year too.

then i would go for green, because i dont want my pads to eat up all rotor

My greens are already having an effect on the rotors. It's all a matter of time either way (green or red).

How long have you had them on your truck Bro?:dontknow:

I've been thinking about putting these on mine for when I can drive again!! :D :D :D

Does the stock set up fade with much hard braking or many laps? The stock (brembo) set up seems to stop pretty well.

The only track event I took the truck on was an easy one for the brakes. Only one or two locations of hard braking so after running the 2 mile coarse the brakes had time to cool down before being needed in those hard brake zones.

I'm not sure if any of the tracks that NASA Rocky Mountain does are particularly hard on the brakes.
