Why would you go with the red pads? What kind of brake temperature will you need to get them into their heat range...certainly nothing on the street, at least thats what EBC told me last year.

I did the greens ON A ROAD COURSE last year with no problems at all.

As far as price, Gary charged me $106.80 and $90.99 (dont know which is front or back) but one of them was for the wrong year (there is a difference).

As far as rotors, somewhere I was told or read that they arent much better then the stock rotors on the truck.

I had the ebc green front and rear pads last truck with stock rotors. I didn't notice any improvement on day to day driving at all. No dust though. I didn't get a chance to track them and really heat them up to see if fade was reduced.

Once those wore out, I bought the ebc front and rear rotors and put the Zeckhausen pads on. Same deal. No improvement but no hard track braking either. I paid 289.00 for the rears and I think just like 180.00 for the fronts on the rotors.

On this new truck (old one sadly met the guardrail at 100), I bought the irotors cross drilled and slotted rotors and carbon metallic pads as a combo for $600. It was on ebay and going for 800, but it had a 'best offer' slot where I said I'd do it for 6 bills. He accepted and I got them the next week. They look sweet and brake fine, but again, I'm not putting myself through the windshield at all.

If anyone knows how to get better braking, not just less dust, less heat and a cooler look, I'm all for it. Of course I like all those things too.

I'll dig through my stack of receipts when I get home,,, but I know the dimpled EBC black rotors for the front and rear from X-Metal were around $900 (about $150 of that was in shipping charges though)...

The Posi-Quiet pads were dirt cheap.

I agree... Zeckhausen is way to go.. Great service and great testimonys. All I have to do is install mine now... :D
