Eclipse Aviation of Albuquerque to close its doors...

I can not remember who, but one of you showed interest in the new Eclipse Jet a year or so ago.

An online aviation industry Website is reporting that Albuquerque based Eclipse Aviation furloughed all of its employees late this morning.

Meanwhile, an Eyewitness News 4 photographer reports that he could see from the street workers leaving the Eclipse plant carrying boxes.

According to Aero-News.net, which cites anonymous sources, all of the companies employees were furloughed immediately and employees will receive their last paycheck at the end of the week.

The source tells Aero-News.net that employees will continue to receive benefits for the rest of the month.

Eclipse filed for bankruptcy late last year after several financial and regulatory setbacks.
