Where do I begin..............
A few days ago Krazy and Eddie were talking about drop kits and Eddie said he would sell his cheap. After talking to Chris on the phone, and having him explain the pluses and minuses that the Mcgauphys 2/4 drop gave him, I decided to pm Eddie and see what his asking price was.
To preface this, I'm still recovering from losing my job and we are having another GIRL (just found out it's a girl on Thursday). So my wife put the brakes on the silly stuff. Like fixing my 4wheelers, the stage 2 for both srt's, drop kits and tires.
So Eddie Pm's me back with a price that is to good to be true, and instead of him taking ANY MONEY AT ALL, THIS MAN TELLS ME TO DONATE IT TO NBT AND DAWNS FUND! Now I go to my wife and it is to much, as good a deal as it was it was still out of reach. I didn't want to tell him, I go to get on the computer to email him and he has already PMed me, telling me a lower price! My wife tells me ok and the deal is done.
Now this might be normal affair around here but this type of selflessness brings tears to my eye's. I have grown up to be a honorable man and I recognize it in others and Eddie is a honorable Man and Friend in every sense of the word. Even when I emailed him to ask permission to write something about him, he was modest. It reminds me of my fav part of CARS, at the very end when lightning is "bump drafting".
Eddie I know it's just a drop kit, and a few bucks but it was your drop kit, and your hard earned money. And from one Man to another, Thank you sir.
