Does anyone know where to get this electri fan that I see so many have? I went to 2 different Autozones and they have never heard of it. PN#?

Thankx

You just have to buy a universal one that fits. I know that Boomer sells'em!!

Ask autozone for an electric fan the biggest they have. They should pull out a torqflo. Thats where I got mine

Something to be aware of is that they don't drastically reduce the temps.Maybe 5-8 degrees. On the RC ,6th gear and highway is the best cooling you can get.On the QC,it may help some.

Here is my post about modifying the stock cooling fan http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1068 It got moved to the DIY section, and I don't have access to that anymore. If you have a question, you will have to PM me

Maybe this will work:rock:  :dontknow: :dancing:

Maybe I should just return it to the store?:dontknow:

Steve I got mine here, it came with a sweet controller, controlled on , off, and setting temp, and A/C setting, you have to look thru them and get the correct size, but they were the only ones I found that would fit between my intercooler and radiator, super thin. but very very noisy! would pull serious air thru the cooler!! serious air!!

BUT took it off, because the truck actually ran as cool, if not cooler with the factory fan.

You can send your PCM to B@G chrysler and have them jsut turn the fan on earlier, and honestly I think thats all you will need.

with all the heat I have under the hood, unless its extrememly hot, I run around 180degrees all day long

sorry forgot the website

Yes.That is basically what I have, two thin fans between the coils with a SPAL controller.Turns on low speed at 165 turns on high speed at 185.Works fairly well, but not a huge improvement.I just like knowing they are there.Bought them from a member here at very low cost.
I also have the 170 degree t-stat and Boomers Stage 2 flash. My BEST cooling method is still 6th gear at 60-80mph.

Mine fans help on hotter days and lower speeds, a solid 5 degrees lower when on. I also installed them with an adjustable thermostat and a overide switch at the dash...all can be bought threw Pepboys or Kragen. (brackets, fans, stat, fuses) have a Hayden part number. I wouldnt advise mounting a electric fan to the radiator like some do.

I had B&G modify my fan duty cycle since I'm in Phoenix. Truck runs 10-15degF cooler with no tstat change yet. A little louder at idle, but well worth it for me.

I also have the B&G flash with the increased duty cycle tune, and the lower 172 degree thermostat...I didnt see lower running temps.:dontknow: If the fan setting duty cycle is increased enough to provide better cooling then your power steering pump will fail sence it drives the main cooling fan.
