Lots of VHT!!!

If I add a voltage reducer inline it does nothing? What is the diff between the resistor and voltage reducer? Sorry I am dumb when it comes to resistors and tranducers, regulators......

get a pair or needle nose pliers and bust half of the bulbs:D

You can't take the light apart! And I am not about to break it open. To much dang $$$ to screw it up

Leds are reistors. They are clear and when voltage goes thur them they emit light. The only way to control how much light they emit is by adjusting the duty cycle.

In short, stinker I beleive you might able to use a knob... Man really wished I hadnt thrown away some of my electronics books

i would vote for this one :rock::rock::rock::marchmellow::marchmellow::marchmellow::marchmellow:

OK the proper way is Pulse Width Modulation.

The cheap way and might not work is adding resistance.
Depending on total number of LED's could be a pain to wire.

The cheapest and was posted before is Nightshades!:D

he he. he he. you said doodie :D

ferrari is mostly correct. you can adjust the brightness somewhat with a pulse width modulator. this will only work to a certain extent.

sorry to say it but the best bet would be to buy the right brightness leds.

You can adjust the brightness of a led with a voltage regulator.

You can get variable voltage regulators thru many part catalogs.

MEC, Digi Key, just search for voltage regulator kits on the net.

Also want to make sure kit will work within the proper voltage range 12-16volts.

Also water prof the regulator, and dont cover the heat sink.

Good luck sir.
