Energy suspension leaf spring bushing kit

Not sure if this was done when chris installed the caltracs. I wonder if this would be a bitch to install now.

be a bit easier with the Cal-Tracks.

2 less bushins to deal with:rock::rock:

Hmm. May not a good bang for the buck to just do the single rear leaf bushing.

very good bang for the buck traction mod/update.

did mine just like you might do yours. Cal-Tracks first then the polys.

i had to give her an extra 300 ish r.p.m.'s or she would bog a bit

good bang for the buck complete set:rock::rock::rock:

Did you have to torch out the rear bushing to get the energy suspension out.

Id like to do this if i can just unbolt the rear, push the stocker out, and pop new in, bolt it back up.

Its not going to be this simple is it?

thats how i did mine. left the front of the spring eye/bushin in place. left the axle on the dirt, lifted the truck. burned out the rubbers, frame & spring. air hammered the shells out. cleaned everything up & assembled in reverse order. ( always wanted to say that:toilet::D)

See, dont think the base's auto shop will let me burn the thing. Dont want to do this in the driveway.

I am going to do my JTS lowering kit soon in a friends garage. He has a lift. If your not in a hurry I could get your truck up there in the next few weeks while im over there. He's 15-20 min from Waldorf.

now when its said "burn", all ya have to do is get the rubber burnin, & the rubber & sleeve will shoot out of the shell.

fun really. unless ya don't like the smell of burnin rubber & screamin women, lol:D
