Engine block number?

Hi - I am looking for my engine block number - using info from previous threads I've located a pad front passenger side of engine with following info on it:-
05 V 8.3L
0913 DRM 20032
Does this sound right?
Any help much appreciated !
Do those last 5 or 6 numbers match the end of your VIN number? From reading different sites it seems the last numbers of the VIN should match the engine serial numbers

From an internet search ... haven't checked my owners manual or ECS sticker they refer to but you can look and see

OKAY - i went to the hyundai VIN decoder and entered my VIN for my DD

The info in that VIN decoder gives me my engine number!

So I try going on a mopar VIN decoder and enter my SRT VIN - but so far none are working out like the Hyundai decoder. I get that the eighth character over from the left is the engine code which is H - that denotes an 8.3l engine but no specific engine serial number like the Hyundai site - BUT I've read in several places that the last six digits should match the VIN - i don't know my engine serial number to compare

So it's back atcha @Random

Mmm....this is what's worrying me - mine doesnt match - I bought the vehicle second hand - all the numbers everywhere else match- I'll have another poke around later with my borescope and see if I can locate the vin pad at the back of the engine and see what that says

Maybe someone else will chime in and see what they can find on their truck. If I could acces my engine serial number tag to see if it does match up to the VIN that would help but all I can verify for sure is the VIN

let us know what you find!
