Engine Detailing???

Ok questions? Im looking at detailing the motor, its not really dirty or anything but it does look dusty and the inlet has the usual oxidation
Anyone got any tried and proven methods, products etc that yield great results?:dontknow:

Wipe aluminum with lemon juice dipped rag, after clean wipe down with a clean wet with a little baking soda disolved in the water its dipped in It will neutralize the acid....Then wipe down with wd-40 between touch ups to keep it protected.
