Just a short question for the electronic guys out there :

Can i use an engine harness from a Quadcab in a Regularcab SRT10 ?

I have a truck which had an engine burn and want to repair it asap and the only harness i can get currently is the one with part no. 05029806ab

Will it run? Yes. You may have transmission codes unless you load an RC tune in the PCM.

It will. But you wont have reverse lights (unless you find the wires and get the plug) and the reverse lockout switch won't work. other than that it works fine

I remove the internals of lockout switch for reverse but I'm sure it's frowned upon, lol. Makes getting into reverse east and normal like it should be.
I may have a Harness, I'll check bud.
 
install a automatic gearbox...problem solved.;)

i would love a RC with automatic.:rock:

Maybe someone has the original part no for a 05 engine harness (RC)

I might consider to buy it new.

otherwise still in the market for a used one :D
