Does the SRT 10 engine generally idle with some amount of vibration? On mine it is not as smooth as a V8 idles. It seems smooth on acceleration however.

My truck idles a little rough, but the dealership said it was normal. The rpm gage doesn't fluctuate it is just noticable on the stick shift.

Idle vibration is to be expected with high HP motors. Funny thing is, I added Lucas along with my oil changes, my idle got better than before (no BS).

It will idle rough from time to time, the brakes will squeek, and all because you can break the tires loose with a simple stomp on the accelerator. It is a performance truck not a luxury sedan...

Enjoy the roughness and drive it like you stole it.

It's normal. We have a 90 degree engine with a 72 degree firing sequence. It will never sound like a V8.

hahaha thats the best part!!!!!!!!!!!!
