I was wondering what everyone's (stock wise) oil pressure is at when your done with your usuall commutes with the truck and are warming it down in park, if possible in regards to oil temp also. Reason I ask is at startup my oil press. is right in line at 75psi. I always wait till oil temp gets to 150 deg. then I start driving. Normal driving oil press. fluctuates like usuall. Now when I get back home and I'm warming the truck down, with the oil temp at 200 deg. it will idle at only maybe 30psi. Just wondering if that's normal or not. I realize at that temp it's gonna play a factor on oil press, but didn't expect to see it drop so low. Now it hasn't even been 3000 miles since the last oil change, and the oil still looks good. Cold oil level is a tad bit high, a bit over the max line but still on the fatter part of the dipstick. Thanks guys.

also depends on your oil? i use 0w40 mobil one.

sounds normal to me.

Yeah I use Mobil 1 0w-40, just didn't expect for it to warm down idle at only 30psi when at startup idle it's at 75psi. Truck runs great as usuall and all the power is definitly still there, was just wondering about the oil press.
