looking for an engine stand ,,found some on ebay for cheap ,,,but thought i would fish in this pond first ??????????

You may want to look for a engine cradle instead.

If you go with an engine stand get one with the two long legs not the one with one .

I have a Mac tools 1200lbs stand with a crank type head on it that turns the engines over, worth about $1000. Like some of the other stated I wouldnt put my motor on it to assemble it. I did to disassemble but the heads were off already. Theres alot of stress on the 4 bolts holding it to the stand and I wouldnt chance it.
