this wed. it's at raceway park in englishtown nj at 2:30 pm. if anyone else is interested it's a $40 entry fee and anyone can run. but bring ballz of steel, i found out after i registered the entry corner is at 85 mph in 3rd gear!!!!! not sure how ill do but i feel confident. i'm bringing 6 stock 20" dodege wheels with brand new falkens for the rear and leavin the 22's up front. ill also be bringing about 500 lbs for added weight in the rear in case its a weight transfer course. i've been practicing a lot the past week, and the truck feels solid till about 110 mph so we'll see how i do. wish me lotsa of luck :D :D :D

Stan... please take video of this... I want to see your rig going sideways. Be carefull and bring an extra pair of underwear. ;)

yea its a big open parking lot, cones mark it out, if you leave the lot completely, its grass for about 50'. the only damage i could do is if i rolled, which i already had it sideways to about 110 (in a closed parking lot my friend owns.) so i feel very confident. the truck reacts very well and is very predictable. i never dreamed i would drift it, but it's soo much fun. it will be taped as long as my friend shows up. and dont worry it will be on here asap :D :D.

Somebody mentioned this before, put a nice fresh coat of wax on your rear quarter panels, so you can wash off the rubber easier after the event.

patrick

using a clear film on my rear quarters that will peel right off when im done. 3-m makes it and it works good. been using it all week so far :D :D

I was at nopi in carson when he hit he wall not to many people go to the driftting it was cool to see the cars sliding around the track

Good luck man I drifted a few years in Japan. Since buying the truck I wandered how it would do I know I can get it sideways no problem but if your on a course where you have to do any sorta weight transfer the body roll factor is too much. These trucks are very heavy and you definetly feel the weight coming back the other way. Anyways have fun and good luck I will look forward to seeing a video clip.
