Epoxy or Double Stick Tape

I was about to go get some double stick automotive tape to attach my SRT 10 letters onto my billet hood insert and I thought, hey, why not just use epoxy. then I wouldn't have to cut around the letters and I could move them for a minute before they set if I misplaced one. Any downsides to using epoxy on this type of thing?

dont know if it will stick to polished billet or not.

epoxy is not going to come off when you realize those srt badges look bad on the front grill!

Not the front grille, its the hood scoop insert. I've got a paint scuffer I could use because the surface that the letters are suposed to mount to is painted black. Think maybe I'll try it out. worst case scenario, they fall off and I'll use my other set with the tape.

Epoxy should work just fine....5-7 bucks @ home depot
