I know this has been mentioned many times but for those of use not 100% up to speed can someone fill me in with the key trick (tutn on and off 3 times?) and also once you get a code, how do you search what it (Pxxxx) means?

Thanks:confused:

Turn it on and off three times, on the third time leave it on...any codes will show in the dash display. If you have a code, remember it and we have code list that will tell you what it means. Often it is not a serious issue...and the condition has been corrected or can be corrected by disconnecting the negative cable on the battery for a few minutes, then reconnecting the cable. If the code persists then you might have an issue that needs to be addressed.

Im sure it has been mentioned but all the key tricks are listed in your owners manual as well. The one that disables the seatbelt chime is my favorite. I found that when I changed the door lock sequence it throws off some of the others. I wanted one push of the button to unlock all doors instead of just the front. When I did this it jacked with my door lock at 20mph.

my seat belt used to chime....not it doesn't know more.....I have no idea what I did to delete the chime but I like it. How do you do this trick if it comes on again.

one not on the key trick to read the codes: turn on and of on and off fast....do not wait for all the chimes to stop bfore going to off.

page 39 of the owners manual will show you how to do this. Its a lot of key turning or I would type it out.
