My suggestion: Next time you speak with one of your fine local officers, ask him or her, "What tickets do you hand out to all the ricers doing burn-outs in the mall parking lots?"

I have had several cops ask me how fast I have gotten her up to!!! Lots of hot rodder cops here. Asked about a ticket for my missing front plate............got the response only if your a #### in a Honda. But they're all not that cool.............if I did a Nowwhat burnout (200 feet) I would expect that I would be hosed.:toilet:

In Jersey this woud fall under Reckless Driving (39:4-96) and it'll put 5 points on your DL and cost you up to $500 bucks. But i would never write this unless it was at the wrong place and time. Hell, i'll even tape it for you from my in car video if its on a nice quiet road I met one of my best friends when he decided to light up the slicks on his 69 Nova SS while i was in an unmarked Expedition. And he did WAY more than a "car length." :dontknow: :burnout:

The ticket is called exibition of speed and acceleration and it is almost as many points against your license as a DUI. Not worth it. Don't get caught...ever.

...thats it here in texas no points, you just get to pay 7$/foot/mark (so a 52' mark with a posi = 728$)

here's my last ticket, which included a "Exhibition of Speed and Acceleration". fortunately, the cop only wrote me up for 100 in a 65 instead of 136 in a 65.
