Yes, your A/F ratio will be slightly leaner (not necessarily lean but leaner than before). You will be flowing more air. Whether or not you need a new tune is unknown, unless you dyno it with them open vs. closed. Too many variables to just say yes or no over the internet to "Do I need a special tune".

More air in and more air out. You are increasing the air out and probably the air in. Which means more HP, so more fuel is probably needed to keep up with airflow.

But you could have a conservative tune right now, fairly rich, which you wouldn't need to retune.

My friends say it sounds like a P-51 Mustang with them open.

Ill go out side and take a pic of mine. I have 3" QuickTimePerformance electic cut outs.I love the way the truck sounds at idle but when I cruise with them open they sound like a UPS truck.

IDK why everyone on here thinks they sound bad at WOT. I think they sound great! Same with everyone that has ever been in my truck. The only exhaust I like better is Cody's (Psycho Mythic)
