i think the catted mids give you like 25HP-35HP MAX at the crank... magnaflow
with the catted mids is probly like 27HP to 37HP Max at the crank...

When you put on catless mids you will notice that the engine will rev alot faster. first gear is a blur for me now, with a 6 speed you might as well forget it, not sure how some guys run 4:88's with any mods???

Just curious, but are aftermarket cat-back systems typically lighter for this truck ? Not that it would really matter or make a difference I suppose...

Yes, they are lighter, but not enough to make much/any performance difference I wouldn't think.

Just a little...If you took off the manifolds, midpipes and cat-back and switched em out for my set up you will save 150 pounds.
