I am experiencing exhaust leaks at my manifold to mid pipe joints.

I have a problem keeping my bolts tight. Any one else have this? I have tightened and locktighted the bolts, but they loosen back up. The nuts were not loose on the bolt (locktight). Are the bolts stretching? Any suggestions?

Another thought I had was can I use high temp silicon on the flanged joint to help keep it sealed after I solve the bolt issue?

if they are stretching you will see a "bottle cap" effect.. i think thats the correct term ;)
I actually haven't gone back and checked my stuff but that's because i got
some new stuff on the way... how did you position then when you installed them?

Perhaps the tension in the bolts is heat threated out due exhaust temp ? Try high temp bolts ? Or the gasket is swimming out ? :dontknow:
