Exhaust Question??

Always done full exhaust on the trucks i've had. For the sake of not spending a fortune can i cut my 2nd set of cats out and replace the muffler without a CEL?:dontknow:

From what i can remember just doing that would gain me 20-30rwhp. i have a magnaflow dual in/out 3'' muffler i can throw on it along with removing the converters.

Was i remembering correctly on the HP?:dontknow: The truck runs good but has no sound at all

I agree with Justin, I even removed the two front cats an tied the rear two O2 sensors to the frame and still don't throw a check engine code.

i don't want it really loud. So i figured i could remove 2 of the convertors,replace the muffler and take out the resonator. it will for sure be much louder but not terribly bad. i might could leave the resonator in:dontknow:

Headers, cat less, magnaflow on mine and it isn't too loud when you're driving it, but it is loud a hell outside

JMB catless mids with OE exhaust here and finally sounds mean like a Viper should......

Rear cats gone, cheap high flow muffler, no resonator, sounds perfect and only cost a few hundred.

I have my rear cats removed, no CEL. Sound and performance increased.
