Exhaust question

Ordered the Magnaflow kit for my Quad Cab. Is there anything I need to know before trying to install, (does it bolt right on or do I need some extra pipe because of the quad cab)?

If you want a true 3" system, you will need some 3" pipe. Stock is 2 1/2". Do you have Mid pipes and headers too?
Belanger Mids need 23 inches of pipe to make a complete 3" system.

:rock: I did it yesterday on an 05 q-cab....Mine was the borla system...If you have questions about the install,I will be happy to tell you about some of the mines.

Get them welded by a shop. Clamps suck!!!

Clamps do suck, I ended up getting mine welded. Spray some wd40 on the rubber hangers to get the stocker out..........that'll save ya 30 minutes right there.

Let us know how you like the tone? Its such an improvement over the stocker unit.

Well the exhaust came in today and within a couple of hours it was on the truck! Just bolted on for now but it'll eventually be welded. Man I love the new sound, this is the way it should have been from the factory!!! Thanks again for the quick replies and tips you guys had.
