i want to put a catless exhaust system on my truck. but the problem is i live in cali and they require cats. i was wondering if they make bolt in inserts for the cat and reg. pipe. so that way all i have to to is after smog unbolt the cats and bolt in a peice of pipe. Any help would be wonderful. i have seen it done on porsche but not anything else. thanks in advance.

You can buy catless mids and mids with cats...or keep the OEM mids....any competent muffler shop can switch them....if they are willing to take the chance of being fined.....at the least they can fix them where you just unbolt...

Cut outs are also illegal in cali. But not as illegal as no cats.
