Of all the systems available or put together systems on these trucks --(especially side exhaust systems which I am interested in installing on my truck)......I was wondering about the in cab drone noise you are having ---I hate the drone in the cab and am looking for a system that has 0 or very very little drone noise.... I have a basically stock , minus resonater and 36 inch glass pack style mufflers. I get the noise at cruising speed around 40 mph steady and thats about it.....I like to hear myself think:burnout:

I have no drone at all with my side exhuast! Now before I cut through the bed I just had the mufflers stop bfore the turn out the bedside and they had massive drone. By simply exiting out the side of the truck it killed that quick. The simple addition of 12" of pipe in a 90* bend stopped it altogether. I would imagine anything dumping or terminating under the bed and not running all the way out would produce droan as well as any tube ( bullet style muffler). The box style mufflers seem to reduce drone and deepen the tone.

Like Venomous is saying, As long as it is done correctly you should have minimal drone.
