However, it is quite obvious that the slope is different when you exchange the triangular objects. Compare where each point is on the grid on the sloped line from the upper to the lower. The lower diagram has points that intersect slightly higher on the grid, yielding a larger area beneath the diagonal line, providing enough difference in area for one "unit".:alberteinstein:

The guy who designed that probably just redesigned my Walmart. I swear the isles seem wider but there's a whole lot more stuff in the store. Can't find anything though. They moved everything all around.

very slight , is detectable,good eye sir!
 
The part that ssticks off the yellow piece is 3 units long the one that sticks off of the green one is 2 units long. If you overlap them, the space appears. When you switch the triangle positions the area is the same. ..Ok well, I suck at explaining things..but well..It just works out that way...

Did not take you folks long this morning. I found it well after midnight, it took me a bit.
