A while back I posted some photos of a friend of mine's PT Cruiser with a bored and stroked 6.1 Hemi installed, one of the cleanest installs I've ever seen.

I've been looking for these three photos of another PT Cruiser from the Detroit area, though you guys might like to see this monster, check out the third photo.

I have a friend who saw this thing at SEMA, said when they tried to drive it inside to set it up for display, everytime they touched the gas pedal it just sat there and smoked the tires, so they finally just hand pushed it into place.

I used to have pictures of the entire build (the guy built two of them) has over 200K in the one in the photo. Last time I heard anything about it, he had it up for sale for $150K.

:dontknow: Well thats different.

As far as I know, it was built for nothing but show, I've never heard of it being run at the track. At least not on those tires and rims.

I do know from the photos I used to have on it, it was not something that was just slapped together. From the ground up it was completely engineered to handle the engine, complete hand built frame, everything.

The pickup part of the body was a matter of cutting out the very rear section of a PT and moving it forward, that's the stock rear window. A lot of work in that beast, not too practical, but definitely cool machine.

A friend of mine Ray owner of PTeazer (George Barris of PT's) saw it up close and personal, said the guy really paid attention to detail in his build.

that is awsome  :burnout: i bet it would win some burnout contest
or he could put in in a drift contest

Looks like a handful to me....

The pickup body is sweet as it can be....

Reminds me of my buddy (Curt Macias) who put a big block rat motor in a Hillman Minx.....
