I think that is the piece that is different than what is on the RC, so yes.

I think I need mine unbolted and cut off, Once I know definitly I will get it to you! Looked under the truck and it is welded in some spots, will that still work???

I wonder if we could swap the whole rear bar, that way there is no cutting or welding.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if the regular '03-'05 1500 hitch will fit the SRT RC? Just wondering if there's a difference since our trucks are suppose to be built on the 2500 chassis.

No it won't. Most dodge hitches bolt to the bumper. The SRT and Daytona models are unique. You can get a new one from Dodge or JMB for $200-300$. It bolts right on to the RC. I have one. Just remove the rear bumper facia and bolt it up.

Thats right, yours is an 06, the frames are different. I will have to check to see if it will work.

it looks to me like mine is bolted on....looks like a pain to remove.my question is,will the 04/05 qc hitch bolt directly to a rc frame?i am going to remove mine soon bill,i will then weigh it an get ya a shipping cost.and a couple dollars my way for a bottle of sour mash :rock: give me your zip code.
