Tim is correct I think. Reboot your pcm by disconnecting the negative terminal of your battery (10mm) for a few minutes...would bet that would solve your problem.

Not sure if it would solve HIS problem. I will say that disconnecting the battery will reboot a lot of computer shit and you had better take it out for a run, high way and city. AKA the rambler

well, she had a '99 t/a with auto, i had the 30th t/a 6-speed, i drove the car on my off days, it was detailed before it went back into the garage until my next days off. i wanted to keep miles down, but still drive and enjoy the car. well her t/a had to go into the shop for a couple weeks and she wanted to drive my 30th t/a, yeah, like that was gonna happen...huge fight, she drove the old '91 explorer. i was really anal about the care of the car, you know, where to park at work, absolutely no trips to wal-mart, walk around check for door dings, etc...you get the picture right? i was an a$$hole when it came to my car. but i realized it was of collector quality being only 1600 total made. i was consumed with thoughts of my car. does that make me car crazy? anyways, i got tired of fighting over it...

True that. Re-booting the cpm is a way to get rid of transient codes that have been thrown...it takes the pcm some miles to once again sample and create baseline data.

I know what your talkin about. My wife has been on my ass to drive it since we bought it. I keep telling her it will be a POS if I let her drive. That starts some good fights everytime.

now in retrospect, she hates it that i sold it. she even admits it now that we shoulda kept it. i think she finally understands what that car was/is, a collectible. my wife would like the fact that yours is auto. the dealer where we bought ours also had a convert-auto, dont remember the ###. i think it was sold already when we got ours...
