Great results for today... I hope to run better tomorrow because it should be cooler. Any way I made two passes today and set a new NA ET record:rock:
Pass#1 10am, temp 80 degrees, DA 2258...actual time 60' 1.813, 1/8 mile 7.802 @91.74, 1/4 mile 12.117@ 114.32 (corrected time [email protected]). Pass #2 the new record for ET, 10.36am, temp 82 degrees, DA 2384......actual time 60' 1.718, 1/8 mile 7.678@ 89.88, 1/4 mile 11.984   @ 114.60 (corrected time 11.649 @ 117.978 ) . The starting line was excellent. I launched at about 3750 rpm both times with 16.5 lbs in the M&H Drag Radials and I had a slight bog both times....hopefully tomorrow I wll be able to launch at 4000+ and see what happens. SRTBrad should be there to film. I met some guys from Fresno and I think they got video of the 11.98 run and some nice photos of the burnout. Maybe they will post up in a few days. Wish me luck tomorrow:burnout: After the second run there was a real strong headwind and dust storm, shut the track down for about an hour, I decided not to run anymore today. Hoping for clean cool air tomorrow.

Well ....bad news....I met with SRTBrad tonight and while I was showing him the truck my Throttle cable broke....so I had to idle it home and I won't be able to run tomorrow....no way to get a throttle cable on Sunday:mad: :shot:

make one with a fishing weight............... Thatwas our quick fix for ernie in pcb. (lol)

great runs, too bad about the cable......maybe it was sabotage?:dontknow: :D
I don't think so.....there were no Lightnings at the track:D ...but there was this Black Chevy SS that was real quick! He had a built 408 cu. in. engine with a Magnusen (sp?) 112 supercharger and Nitrous and he ran 11.70's:burnout:

Now I'm really upset .....I just checked the Temp and DA for this morning....at 9am it was 59 degrees and a DA of 670', by 11am it was only 62 degrees and a DA of 918...... and to think I ran 11.98 when it was 82 degrees and a DA of over 2300'....Oh , what could have been.....Damn it!
