Well not what I expected... Air was cool , about 62 degrees , little or no breeze. As one would expect the first day open after the winter shutdown the starting line was below par. Way too many Pro cars....they take forever...and they break alot!!! Delay after delay. But I did turn my best speed ever 110.87MPH!!! I only got two runs in. The Z06 did not show. Run 1 was as follows...1.935 60', 12.792 @ 109.34 Mph, Run 2 was 2.075 60', 12.781 @ 110.87 Mph. Both runs were MUSTANG Kills!!! Run number 1 was against a New GT Mustang and he ran 14.311 @99.82 MPH . Viper Power. The first run I tried 18.5 lbs of air in the M&H's and got some wheel hop, lowered the tires to 17 lbs for run 2 and tried to leave @3500 rpm... Spinnnnn . I guess my best leave is at about 2900-3000 with a touch of bog. Private track day next Sunday...fewer cars and with a better starting line prep I hope for better times.

They have been posted several times...but here goes...2004 RC, 4.56 gears, cal tracks, MOFO headers, hi flow cats, Magnaflow exhaust, Volant Ram Air, 170 therm, DC performance tune, Fidanza flywheel, Centerforce clutch, Viper slave and Master cyl kit, X Metal Gen IV shifter.....and years of practice power shifting!!!

Oh I forgot... M&H 390-40-17 Drag Radials, lighter 20" front wheels with 245-45-20 tires, No spare, No tailgate. I also remove my Hard shell bed cover but most 2004's don't have that. Truck weighs 5000 lbs stock with 1/4 tank and without me. The bed cover weighs 120 lbs, tailgate 60 lbs and the smaller tires in front save a full 60 lbs over stock. Hows that!
