fault code

for the past couple of days ive been getting code p0801....i know its the reverse inhibit solenoid control circuit but where the hell is it located and how can i fix it....thanks

It is on the side of the transmission. I think the passenger side, trying to remember from my days of skip shift eliminators on LSx cars, skip shift solenoid was on driver side of the trans.

Mine is there but don't get a light just a stores code. Think you'll have to find resistors to match what solenoid has resistance. I've never hit Reverse so I'm sure you'll be fine without.
We don't have the wiring for it but maybe an old automatic harness can be used.
